Why a Tent is a Must When You Are Camping
Camping is a great, wholesome activity suitable for everyone whether you are young, old, single or married. Anyone can learn the basics of camping and once they realize how relaxing and fun it is, almost everyone enjoys it. Although camping is a relatively simple hobby to plan and instigate, there are some things you need to consider and you will need certain items in order to make you camping adventures go without a hitch. One of those things you will need is a good, sturdy tent. Even if you plan on going alone, in order to be comfortable, you will need at least a 2 man tent.
Although some people chose to camp under the stars, there are many reasons why this is not a good idea and why it is best to have a tent on hand every time you are camping even if you chose to sleep outside some of the time. Here are some of those reasons:
- A tent makes for good shelter in bad weather. Just because it is sunny when you leave home, doesn’t mean it won’t rain later in your trip. Frost is also common in some areas all year round.
- It will offer protection from wild animals such as bear, coyotes and mountain lions.
- You can store your gear in it while you are away from your campsite instead of leaving it all out in the open for people to see and possibly steal. It’s certainly easier then packing and unpacking the car over and over again continuously.
- Sleeping in a tent is much comfortable than sleeping on bear ground and warmer too!
There are many types of 2 man tents on the market and they vary in price depending on what you buy. Some are made for just the warm summer months while others are made for all seasons. The all season tents are the ones that will cost the most due the materials they are made of. Some tents have many features like windows and pockets to store items while others are very simple and serve their purpose of sheltering you from the elements.
