The Final Roadtrip
So, you’ve got your eye on the next big vehicle in your life. Maybe it’s one of those hybrids, that will save money, and save the planet all at the same time. Or maybe it’s one of those new North American crossovers (I like the Buicks) with all the cool tech gadgets on them these days. Either way, there’s plenty of shiny new toys to choose from these days. Your problem may be, what to do with that old clunker sitting in the driveway. It’s almost a shame to try to trade it in to a dealer these days, as you never get anything close to what it’s worth. Then again, the other alternative of trying to sell it on your own can just be a hassle. You’ve got to advertise it, take the time to show it to perspective buyers, and then haggle with buyers and may try to buy it for practically nothing. The best solution is car donations.
You may have heard of this before. By donating your vehicle to a company that auctions them off and gives the money to charity, you may have found the perfect solution. Most companies, will even come and take the car for you. Even if they have to tow it. Plus, there’s still something that’s in it for you, and it’s not just the good feeling you get from helping out a worthwhile cause. You also get a tax receipt if your car sells for more than $500. These companies will also take other vehicles like boats, motorcycles, trailers, and motor homes.
