Russia Is One Of The Most Interesting Places to Visit
It seems, that for some reason Russia is not high on the list of places for many North Americans to visit. I suspect, that it has something to do with ancient politics, but that doesn’t really make a lot of sense to me. Sure, the climate of Russia may not be as inviting as the Caribbean, but there are plenty of other good reasons to travel somewhere besides the weather. If your interested in history for example, then I’d be hard pressed to find a more interesting place to go than Russia. Travel agencies in Russia would be very helpful I’m sure in pointing out some fascinating historical places to visit.
I sure, most people are well aware of the space race that took place between the Russians and the Americans during the sixties and the seventies. While most westerners have heard the American side of the story, wouldn’t it be interesting to hear the Russian side. Take suborbital transports as an example, of a way to turn your vacation into a bit of a learning experience. And really, hearing the other side of a lot of history is one of the most interesting things there is about traveling in my mind. Really, that’s the whole point of travel. To experience different cultures and learn more about the people and the places they live in.
