Blog post 1:Visit Menorca and Cala Galdana

Summer is just about here now and if you haven’t already started thinking about the destination you’ll be visiting this year, then you better start thinking about it now. If you need a little bit of help deciding where to go then maybe you should consider trying one of our Menorca holidays.

Menorca is one of the Balearic Islands and it can be found off the south coast of Spain. As you are probably aware Spain has some excellent weather, and the same goes for this Island. If you visit this destination during the summer you can expect sunshine and warm weather all through your stay.

If you go to a destination like this you obviously expect to see the usual features like sun, sand and sea etc. But the great thing about Menorca is the fact that there is a lot more to see then this. You have the chance to explore its natural beauty, wild life and sea life. You can also go scuba diving, windsurfing and parasailing.

If you want to stay at an amazing resort then you should book one of our cala galdana holidays. Cala Galdana is a quiet resort in the south west of Menorca. It has a lot of natural beauty and its features include pinewoods in between the beach and the town, and splendid limestone cliffs in the distance. There are also several shops and restaurants in this town, so you’ll get many chances to try the local cuisine.

If you have young children they will enjoy their stay in Cala Galdana, because it has a small water park, which also has an adjoining go karting track.

As you can see the Island of Menorca has a lot to offer and so does the town of Cala Galdana. You probably don’t know but this town is the most photographed town on the Island, book a holiday to Menorca to find out why.

Welcome to our little piece of the west. Not the wild wild west, at least not usually, but a very modern and exciting western world. It's fun to travel to different destinations, so lets begin.
